- Take out the chicken and then shred it with two forks.
- Now, take a small bowl and mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
- Pour the sauce from the crockpot into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat.
- Whisk in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the shredded chicken back to the thickened sauce and mix well.
- Serve the chicken teriyaki over rice with steamed broccoli or other veggies.
